The Extreme team has been hard at work (and play!) this week at The Big Bang Fair, with its clients Leonardo and Babcock.
Engaging environments to capture imaginations
The Big Bang Fair is designed to spark the imagination of young people with an interest in a scientific or engineering career. The Extreme team stepped up to provide two environments, designed to capture the attention of the event attendees, and foster their interest in both Leonardo and Babcock.
The Babcock environment was designed around in-built interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to test their own understanding of science and technology. Take a look at the exhibits in action:
For Leonardo, we designed the environment to provide a streamlined and simple space within which the event visitors could engage directly with the Leonardo team and find out more about the engineering industry. As well as an opportunity to discuss career paths with industry experts, the environment also included a scientific experiments involving helicopter blades, thermal imaging, and a rampaging chariots robot area – which the students found very interesting!
The Big Bang Fair 2019 was held at the NEC in Birmingham this year and was held as a celebration of all things scientific, technological, engineering and mathematics. The event offers an award-winning combination of theatre shows, workshops, exhibits and careers information, providing young people from schools and colleges across the country with the chance to speak directly with some of the biggest STEM companies and to explore potential career path opportunities.
