In remembrance of the fallen men and women in the line of duty and the protection of us, Extreme has adorned a poppy on the face of their building. Although Remembrance Day is to remember all those fallen during times of war and conflict, it began with World War One, or the great war as it became known. This war coloured everything that came before and shadowed everything that came after. On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 the guns of Europe fell silent. After four years of the most bitter and devastating fighting, The War was finally over. Great Britain, and the empire at the time, had a casualty count of 3.1million out of the 8.9million that were mobilised for war.
Extreme will be observing the two-minute silence at 11am on the 11th November 2016, in memory of those who gave their lives protecting us.
We hope you join us in this.
Lest we forget.
