ECOBUILD 2011Ecobuild is the world's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment and the UK's largest construction event of any kind. In addition to a dozen key attractions and over 100 seminar sessions over 1,300 exhibitors from around the world took part at the event, being held for the first time at ExCel in London. Amongst those exhibiting were three of Extreme's clients, Crown Paints, Actis Insulation and Hamworthy Heating. Actis Insulation is the European market leader in the sector of thin multi-foil insulation, with over 70 million m² already installed and nearly 700,000 homes insulated. The company were using their presence at Ecobuild to display a new range of products to complement their range of thin multi-foil reflective insulation. Our eye catching stand was both attractive and functional with ample areas for the three key display areas. The display included bespoke display models that demonstrated the flexibility and effectiveness of the products. This was our first time working with Actis and we look forward to working with them again. Crown Paints used the show to demonstrate the positive steps it is taking to improve the environmental credentials of its products. Crown Paints has made significant changes to minimise the impact of its paints on the wider environment, addressing each part of the manufacturing process, from formulation to distribution and application. In addition to demonstrating the company's ongoing commitment to developing environmental best practice, the leading UK paint manufacturer was also exhibiting the latest coatings from its Crown Trade, Sandtex Trade and Sadolin ranges. Hamworthy Heating, a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial heating and hot water products recognise the contribution that condensing boilers make to the carbon reduction programme. The company used the show to launch its new Fleet range of wall hung and floor standing commercial condensing boilers at this year's Ecobuild exhibition. A full selection of products from their range, including a mounted turntable display drew many visitors to the stand.
