Velux

Brief

Velux were looking for an exhibition stand to showcase and highlight the total Velux range; solar products, solar hot water systems, roof collectors, windows blinds and shutters.

All the Velux products had to be fully functional on the exhibition stand to demonstrate their capabilities to targeted professionals including architects, housing associations and the renovation sector. The desired response was to show Velux pushing the boundaries of roof window technology.

Since the focus was on the product so it is not necessary to develop complete roof sections, only a framework of some kind was necessary, almost skeletal in appearance but reflecting a roof shape.

Solution

An open, welcoming stand based on a over-head canter-levered roof framework with laminated beam structure housing a comprehensive range of Velux products.

All products met full brief requirements being fully functional and easily accessible.

The exhibition stand had to be eco-friendly. It was designed to be used for multiple events and constructed from 100% recyclable material. Including: reclaimed flooring, solvent-free, odourless paints and LED lighting.
